Our favorite place to vacation together is Florida. It’s a great place to relax, explore and soak up some sunshine! Our first day of vacation (Saturday, April 28th, 2007) started out like all our other vacations! Up before the roosters could sing, we began our journey to Delray Beach, Florida. The trip was perfect! We were lucky enough to receive the last covertible mustang as our rental car for the week, the Marriott allowed us an early check in. By 2 o’clock, we were napping on the beach and soaking up those rays!

Before heading out to dinner that first night, Ry suggested a quick walk on the beach to watch the sunset. We spotted a Portugese Man of War so I reached into Ry’s side pocket of his cargo pants to take a picture. Little did I know that he was completely freaking out because he thought that was the pocket with the ring. After a few minutes of goofing off, we found a quiet spot on the beach where Ry told me all the things every girl wants to hear. He nervously got on one knee and asked me to be his wife! After a few minutes of laughing and crying, I finally said “Yes.”
